This pretty little tea kettle is a well used addition to my kitchen. It performs like a champ. Easy to fill and easy to pour without getting scalded by steam. Its whistle is just right, not an eardrum shattering high pitch, but plenty loud to be heard even if you are not in the kitchen. I like that the lid for the spout stays in the upright position after you press the lever on the underside of the handle. It has a large opening for adding water and it cleans up nicely. I would recommend this kettle to anyone. Beauty and function for a reasonable price.

I just got this item today along with extra blooming teas. First time using it, it had a metal burning smell on my electric stove. Kinda expected. The color is beautiful! Better than the picture. The stainless steel is thin so it can easily dent. But I don't plan on banging it on anything, so not a problem. The whistle works. Gets me off my feet! Over all I am extremely impressed and feel like I made a good investment at a very low price. Highly recommended

I received this tea kettle in the "smoke" color which looks great in any kitchen especially if you have white, black, or stainless steel appliances. It works well, has good capacity, and boils quickly. The whistle works fine and is plenty loud enough to hear in the next room. Before leaving for work, I empty any leftover water out of it and let it dry out. A previous reviewer gave it a low rating, claiming that the finish is not dishwasher safe, but why would you need to wash it in the dishwasher in the first place? I like this kettle and would recommend it.

It's a teakettle so not much to really say, have had no problem with any paint or enamel flaking off, whistle is easy to hear, and aside from that it boils water and it's decent to look at.

I have had this tea kettle for several months now and I love it! The color is stunning and everytime I have friends over and offer them tea, i always get complements on it. It has a removable lid which make filling easy, and the one-hand operation makes serving multiple cups a breeze.
