I like this teakettle, but I was looking for something that sounded more like a train whistle. I also wanted to mention that the handle does get a little hot when the water boils, not usually hot enough to require a pot holder, but if I don't hear it right away it does. Might want to look into fixing the heat conduction from the pot to the handle.

The base fits the larger of the heating ring on the stove top. The whistle is loud so I won't forget about boiling water on the stove top again.

Looks nice but so disappointed it rusted after using it the very first time... I had to through it out.
