This is Fantastic. Heats water in just a few minutes. I have had 2 others that were great, but this one is excellent. Love that the pot is seperate from the heating base. Great value for the money. Really well built. Cleans up with ease.

What interested me in this kettle is the top bail handle. Only the Cuisinart cordless kettle has the same arrangement and it is way more money. Most others have side handles which makes it hard for those with carpal tunnel or arthritis to deal with when filled. Boils quickly, especially if you fill it with a few cups of water for coffee/tea/etc.
Although a tad noisy (all stainless kettles are), the auto shutoff is nice feature. The lit side switch pokes out and is a little curious. Given that decent carafes cost this much and more makes this a great addition to the kitchen.

This is a pretty good unit. So far, so good, and it boils water much faster than a regular kettle.

The product itself is excellent and she uses it daily I especially like the auto turn off feature as it was purchased for a great aunt whos' 91 and forgets when she puts the kettle on.This feature eases my minds about her forgetting it. What I was disappointed in is the fact that what attracted me was the promise to have it there by Christmas in the advertising but did not mention that it would cost extra to have there by Christmas, and consequently being that I'm on a fixed income and have to keep things at there lowest cost. My Aunt did not get this as a Christmas present. And I had to go out and purchase another gift so that she had one from me for Christmas ending up costing me twice the cost for her gift this year.And I had to have someone take me because I am temp. handicapped and can't get out on my own and hence the reasoning behind ordering on the internet. So my rating on this product A+ keeping advertised promise and cost D-
