THE BEST FOR SAFETY March 9, 2010 TeePayne (Steeler Brown Territory) I purchased this electric kettle on a whim. It has turned out to be a great purchase. You can't let the water boil out of it because it automatically turns off when it reaches the correct temperature. It turns off if there isn't enough water in it. It also has a lighted area where the water level is. You can see how much water there is when you turn it on. The plug has a new design with a big hole in the middle that makes it extremely easy for someone to plug or unplug the kettle. I've owned it about a month and haveI used it several times a day, I am going to buy them as gifts for my tea drinking friends.
Best kettle March 5, 2010 Andrea J. Santa Maria (Seattle, WA) I've tried several, and this is by far my favourite. Very little plastic in the overall design, and none directly contacting the hot water. Pretty lights & bells.
Great kettle February 27, 2010 EAC (Texas, USA) I bought this kettle as a gift at Christmas and liked it so much I bought one for myself. It is well made, stylish and does the job. More expensive than some but well worth the extra, given that I had bought three cheaper kettles that did not last.
Not the quickest February 27, 2010 D. PATIENCE (Los Angeles, CA USA) This kettle was a replacement because of the Stainless Steel Finish, it is slower than our previous electric kettle and also produces more steam before coming to the boil ...... but it does look good and it does work.
Failed after 18 months February 27, 2010 Ravi Pandya (Seattle, WA) This is the second Breville product I've bought that has failed just after the warranty expired(the other was a juicer that we only used about 5 times, but unfortunately it sat on the shelf for over a year first). I'll never by one of their products again.
